Delfy at CES 2025
Small Booth, Big Impression: Making Delfy Shine at CES 2025 with AR Magic
Application Used
Lens Studio, Blender, Adobe Illustrator
Project Overview
I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Delfy, an LA-based company specializing in protective and stylish tech accessories, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. With over 4,000 exhibitors, CES is a competitive stage, featuring major players like Sony and Samsung alongside startups. Delfy’s goals were clear: boost brand recognition, attract B2B and B2C clients, and leave a lasting impression.
Faced with a compact 10x10 booth, I developed an interactive augmented reality (AR) experience using Lens Studio. This experience showcased Delfy’s innovative spirit and left visitors intrigued, entertained, and impressed.
Design Challenge

Who’s this Lens for?
At CES, the lens was designed to captivate a diverse audience, starting with the curious visitors who stopped by Delfy’s booth. Whether they were existing customers loyal to the brand or potential new clients intrigued by the sleek product designs, the goal was to make every interaction memorable.
Given the tech-savvy nature of CES attendees, AR enthusiasts and innovators were also a key target—people excited to see how augmented reality could elevate a brand experience.
Beyond the event, the lens was envisioned as a tool that Delfy could continue to leverage, extending its reach to anyone who might connect with the company through social media or future marketing campaigns.
Project Goals
The primary mission was to leave a lasting impression on everyone who experienced Delfy’s booth. With thousands of competitors showcasing at CES, it was crucial to stand out and create genuine engagement. The lens not only aimed to highlight Delfy’s innovative spirit but also to showcase the fun and functionality of AR as a marketing tool. This wasn’t just about introducing people to Delfy—it was about sparking excitement, demonstrating the brand’s unique edge, and fostering connections that could lead to long-term relationships.
On a personal level, I also wanted the lens to reflect my AR development skills, showcasing my ability to merge creativity and technology in ways that resonate with audiences.
Moodboard Creation
Delfy’s branding—navy blue and bright orange—formed the foundation. I aimed for a sleek, minimal design that felt modern, approachable, and aligned with Delfy’s tech-forward identity.

Brainstorming & Concept Development
Front Camera Experience:
A Delfy logo crown orbiting the user’s head.
Delfy branding subtly integrated into the screen.
Back Camera Mini-Game:
Users interacted with a cannon and two phone screens.
Scenario 1: A phone without Delfy’s screen protector shatters when hit, displaying “- $700” to represent repair costs.
Scenario 2: A phone with Delfy’s screen protector remains intact, with the Delfy logo appearing as a shield, emphasizing its durability and cost-saving potential.
Why This Concept?
While other ideas, such as product hover animations or virtual comment boards, were considered, I chose the mini-game for its engaging, memorable nature and its ability to communicate Delfy’s product benefits in a clear, interactive way.
Final Work
The lens was a showstopper! I placed digital flyers about the AR experience next to Delfy’s catalogs and business cards at the booth. By the end of the event:
Total Plays: 4,274
Visitors loved the front-camera experience, but the mini-game on the back camera stole the show. Watching their reactions as they played and learned about Delfy’s product strength was the highlight of my experience.

Reflection
Participating in CES was a dream come true, and this project affirmed my passion for creating AR experiences. Seeing people interact with the lens and receiving positive feedback boosted my confidence and fueled my ambition to explore AR further.
Of course, challenges like connectivity issues and visitors without Snapchat required quick problem-solving. Despite these hurdles, the project’s success was a testament to the power of creativity and innovation.
What’s the Next Steps?
This CES experience feels like just the start of something much bigger. I’m so excited to see how this AR lens can continue to make an impact for Delfy, not just at events but as part of their everyday marketing. I’d love to bring the lens to their website and social media, giving more people a chance to interact with it and really understand the strength and innovation behind Delfy’s products in such a fun, hands-on way.
Looking ahead, I can’t wait to create even more AR experiences that take things to the next level. There’s so much potential to keep improving, trying new ideas, and making Delfy stand out in creative and exciting ways. This project has been such a confidence boost, and it’s sparked a ton of new ideas for what’s possible. I’m ready to keep building on this momentum and bring those ideas to life!
